Specializes in: Machine techniques such as invisible applique, free motion quilting and other specialty machine techniques. Also a hand pieced quilt called Orange Peel is very popular.
Caron has been sewing since she was a young girl, and when she discovered quilting, she took to it like a duck to water. Within the year she was instructing at a local quilt shop and competing (and winning!) nationally.
She loves all things difficult looking but easy, and her line of patterns utilizes many techniques that can look oh so difficult, but they are quite easy!
When Caron travels to guilds and other interested groups, she brings an amazing collection of quilts, patterns for sale, and a sense of humor that will have everyone in the group remembering her visit fondly. Also when teaching, she finds that students always take away more from the class if they’ve had fun while they learn.
Caron will work with your group and put together a workshop and lecture package that will make affordable sense.
