"Last night’s lecture was totally wonderful. It was such a delight to see your amazing talent. I bought your book and read it today — you made me feel like I could have a go at doing different quilting things and not feel inadequate. It was wonderful to see someone not only stand up for what they believe, but to put their passion into an art form that everyone can share."
Mary Elliott, Audience Member, (Meeteetse, WY)
"I just wanted to thank you for hosting Marta Amundson's "Color Theory for the Quilter" class. The facilities were terrific; the class was excellent, and I hope that you will do more quilting classes in the future!"
Melissa A. Peters, museum workshop participant, (Longmont CO)
"We loved having Marta work with our kids. She communicated her ideas well. Her expectations for quality work were clear. The stories she told were fascinating. We hope she will come back to Pinedale very soon."
Arlinda McLaughlin, elementary school teacher (Pinedale, WY)
"It is unusual to find an artist of Marta’s caliber and experience to be also very talented as a facilitator and teacher. She came fully prepared to teach a project so well structured that it guaranteed success. Marta tapped into every learning style by showing slides and examples of cooperatively built classroom quilts of all kinds, talking us through the full project, guiding us through our own hands-on quilt, and also provided effective written instructions and patterns."
